I better update this thing!

Okay so theres been a few setbacks lately. About 2 weeks ago I dropped my laptop (it was on) and the hard drive died. So all the data for the video I was editing, as well as almost 100 gigs of sound files, and effects gone.

That's the reason why there was a 2 week gap between the TSA video and the MK one, and Anthony graciously has been doing the past few videos solo. But it's all good though, as I've been picking up a lot of files and at the same time preparing for new years and school (which starts in a few days).

Just wanted to throw a quick update out there and say to anyone who may come across and read this in time: Have a Happy New Year, and of course, be safe :P. What are your new years plans? I still have no idea what I'm going to do and could use the inspiration!

Lots of New Stuff on the Horizon

So, I know we've been talking about making tutorials on the second channel, but it won't end up being as soon as we were hoping for. With two weeks at Anthonys, we're filming a total of 5 videos to stay ahead in case we can't film some day, or we want to do another Video Game Flaws. We originally had the time to do it, but we just got done filming the second video last night and realized how ridiculously long it's gonna take to edit.

So, on to that new stuff...The next videos coming your way are: A Mime Fight, MK Christmas Special, and a Shooting Gallery Gaming vid, in that order. The MK Christmas special doesn't need explaining, but the mime fight video does. It's basically about two mimes fighting for a street corner, by using all sorts of "mime weaponry", tools, and anything you can imagine, but cannot see. I think it'll be enjoyable if you have a good imagination, but it won't be too hard to tell because the video will be full of sound effects.

The Shooting Gallery gaming video is what we consider the ultimate shooter training system, combining games like Donkey Kong (you'll see), Parasite Eve, and even Fallout 3. Basically, they're primarily scenarios in games where you're in a shooting range, and the character progresses through each course to try to become a well versed shooter. All in all, it should end up turning out pretty sweet, but it's certainly going to take a while because we did 7-8 separate games. By the way, if you're wondering what the other games are and are hoping for Vice City, or Perfect Dark (as they have shooting ranges), those are the only games we could think of that did not end up being filmed. It would have been too long and we couldn't think of any good jokes for either. Either way, would have been nice to introduce some badass Perfect Dark weapons.

So now that I selfishly said some things that're goin on in our lives, whats new for you guys? Anyone else excited about the holidays?

Switching to this blog for our website

Since we didn't have much going on with our site, and since google thought the site had viruses, we decided to throw a blog here instead. Here we'll be putting up random updates about videos we're making, maybe some tutorials and a lot of fancy smancy info. Think of this as a longer but less convenient twitter!

The video we just recently got done filming was a quick idea that will be called: "How not to look like a douche while wearing a leather jacket." but hopefully the title ends up a lot shorter, lol. Don't expect it to be anything extraordinary, but the videos coming your way December/January will probably be our best yet. Because of school vacation whoo! Gonna be a lot more filming and editing than the usual one day a week thing.

So hows everyone doing? We've been thinking about doing some tutorials on how to do certain effects, how to properly light a green screen etc, and are wondering if anyone wants to watch that kind of stuff. I figure since we get a lot of questions about editing that it would a lot of you some time and make things easier for you. Anyways, gotta go shopping! Much love <3.

Mortal Kombat Spoof on the way!

Wednesday we filmed our Mortal Kombat spoof video. After 9 hours of filming (with some down time in the middle), we were finally ready to get out of costume! We filmed three random fight scenes to make fun of the "flaws" and exploits of Mortal Kombat. Two were filmed in the backyard, with one in a very busy park.

We  thought that the park wouldn't be busy during school, but we had some bad luck on that one. People were countlessly getting in the shot, or asking us questions about what we're filming and why we look so rediculous. It was pretty funny how awkward it was with us dressed up in costumes a 8 year old would wear for Halloween.

One guy walked up to us while walking his dogs and asked "Filming for Youtube?". It's funny that youtube is so big now that it's the first thing a lot of people think about whenever they see a camera. This video should prove to be decent, and it will take Anthony a lot of man hours to edit this behemoth.

Stay tuned for more news, and more behind the scenes info!
